1. Data controller

The controller responsible for personal data collected on this website is:

  • Owner: Pablo Pedrajas

2. Data we process

As a general rule, browsing this website does not collect personal data. We do not use analytical, tracking, or advertising cookies. The only information stored in your browser is a technical localStorage marker to remember that you have accepted the cookie notice (see Cookie Policy).

There are two exceptions, where we do collect the data you provide:

  • Voluntary subscription to our newsletter “Balance Semanal” (email address and, optionally, your name). Described in section 8.
  • Submitting the “Trabaja conmigo” request form to enquire about a strategic diagnosis. Described in section 9.

3. Purpose

When we collect personal data, we will do so exclusively for one of the following purposes:

  • Responding to your enquiries or messages sent via forms or email.
  • Sending you email communications, only with your prior consent.
  • Complying with applicable legal obligations.

We carry out no profiling for advertising purposes and no automated decision-making producing legal effects or similarly significantly affecting you (Art. 22 GDPR). The only automatic classification is the one described in section 9, which merely sorts the inbox and is always followed by human review.

4. Legal basis

The legal basis for processing your data will be, as applicable:

  • Your express consent, given when completing a form or subscribing.
  • Legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry you initiated.
  • Compliance with a legal obligation, where required.

5. Retention period

Data will be retained for the minimum time necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or until you request its deletion, unless a legal obligation requires a longer retention period.

6. Recipients

We do not share or sell your data to third parties, except where required by law. We do use service providers acting as data processors on behalf of the controller, under the corresponding data processing agreement in accordance with the GDPR. They are listed in sections 8 and 9, according to the processing concerned.

This site includes affiliate links to Amazon Spain and other platforms. Clicking those links directs you to external sites whose privacy policies are independent of ours.

7. Your rights

Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Spanish LOPDGDD, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data.
  • Request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request erasure when data is no longer necessary.
  • Request restriction of processing.
  • Object to processing.
  • Request data portability.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Authority (aepd.es).

To exercise any of these rights, please contact the data controller, clearly stating which right you wish to exercise.

8. Newsletter “Balance Semanal”

If you subscribe to our newsletter Balance Semanal, we process your data on the following terms:

  • Data controller: Pablo Jesús Pedrajas Arias — NIF 74375349L. Calle Utiel 18, 03203 Elche (Alicante), Spain. Contact: legal@pablopedrajas.com.
  • Data processed: your email address and, optionally, your name.
  • Purpose: to send you a periodic informational newsletter on taxation, business, finance, entrepreneurship, economic news, and technology.
  • Legal basis: your express consent, given by ticking the acceptance box and confirming your subscription via double opt-in (a verification email). You may withdraw your consent at any time.
  • Data processor: the email marketing platform UAB “MailerLite” (Lithuania, European Union), which processes the data on behalf of the controller under the corresponding data processing agreement in accordance with the GDPR.
  • Retention period: we keep your data until you unsubscribe from the newsletter or withdraw your consent, at which point it is deleted.
  • Your rights: you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, and portability, and withdraw your consent, by writing to legal@pablopedrajas.com. In addition, every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.

9. “Trabaja conmigo” requests

If you submit the request form on the Trabaja conmigo page, we process your data on the following terms:

  • Data controller: Pablo Jesús Pedrajas Arias — NIF 74375349L. Calle Utiel 18, 03203 Elche (Alicante), Spain. Contact: legal@pablopedrajas.com.
  • Data processed: your name, your email address, your company name (optional) and your answers to the form: annual revenue band, sales channels, and the description of the problem or decision you want to address. Please do not include special categories of data (health, political opinions, trade union membership) or third parties' personal data in that description.
  • Purpose: to assess your request, reply to you and, where there is a fit, propose a call and prepare a professional services proposal. We also keep an aggregate monthly count of requests received for internal statistical purposes.
  • Legal basis: your express consent, given by ticking the acceptance box before submitting the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), and the taking of pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time.
  • Data processors:
    • Vercel Inc. (United States) — website hosting and execution of the function that receives the form, processed in its Frankfurt (Germany) region. International transfers rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
    • Sendinblue SAS (“Brevo”) (France, European Union) — delivery of the request notification and, where applicable, the acknowledgement email.
    • Google Ireland Limited (Ireland, European Union) — recording the request in a Google Sheets spreadsheet.
  • Retention period: we keep your request for a maximum of two years from our last communication with you, or until you request its deletion. If the request leads to a contractual relationship, the applicable statutory retention periods will apply.
  • Request classification: based on the revenue band you select, the system automatically flags whether the request fits the service, solely to sort the inbox and count requests. This is not automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR: no request is rejected automatically and every one is reviewed by a person.
  • Your rights: you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, and portability, and withdraw your consent, by writing to legal@pablopedrajas.com.
